The 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear at Nottingham Youth Court today (Thursday 20 September).

The charge comes as Nottinghamshire Police and partners are supporting a national knife amnesty, as part of Operation Sceptre. We are encouraging members of the public to dispose of unwanted knives at one of 13 amnesty bin locations across the county, with no questions asked, until Sunday (23 September).
