Teenager robbed of trainers and phone and threatened with knife – CCTV released

Police want to speak to the person in the image after a teenage boy had his trainers and mobile phone taken in a robbery.

The victim reported being threatened by a group of youths, known to him, in Cranmer Street, Nottingham. One of the group claimed to have a knife, and the victim was forced to take off his trainers and hand them over.

The victim’s phone was then taken from his hand before the group threw the trainers into an abandoned property. The offenders fled the scene with the phone following the incident on 2 August 2024 at around 6:30 pm.

Detectives have been carrying out an investigation into the incident, and three teenage boys, aged 14, 14, and 15, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery. Officers are now in a position to release this image of another person they believe could have important information about what happened.
