Boys threatened with a baton while in their car in St Ann’s

A teenager has been arrested after two boys were allegedly threatened with a baton whilst sitting in their car.

The two victims had pulled up in a car on Marmion Road, St Ann’s, at around 12.20am on 5 December 2021 when the incident happened.

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remains in custody as enquires continue.

Detective Inspector Kayne Rukas, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We received a report of an alleged robbery and after some good police work arrested a teenager in relation to this incident.

“We do not believe there is any wider risk to the public and believe the suspect and victim may have been known to each other.

“Our enquires into this incident are continuing but we would like to ask anyone who may have any information about what happened to get in touch as it may help with our investigations.”
