The Becket School, a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, is celebrating the achievements of its sixth-form students following the publication of this year’s A-level results.
Students have achieved some excellent individual results, with many now progressing to the next stage of their education, training or employment. Their achievements reflect the hard work, resilience and commitment they have shown throughout their time at The Becket Sixth, supported by the dedication of staff and their families.
Performance highlights
This year:
– 25% of A-level entries achieved A*–A
– 51% achieved A*–B
– 78% achieved A*–C
– The overall A*–E pass rate was 98%
– The average grade per A-level entry was C+
There were also some outstanding individual performances.
Lexine Glover achieved an exceptional three A grades, an outstanding achievement and a testament to his hard work and commitment throughout sixth form.
Emilia Williams achieved A*, A*, A, demonstrating consistently high academic performance across her subjects.
Ella Rendu achieved an impressive A*, A, A, B, reflecting the determination and sustained effort she has shown throughout her studies.
Lily Cheung achieved an excellent A*, A*, A, a fantastic set of results which recognise her hard work during her time at The Becket Sixth.
Mr Bradley, Assistant Headteacher at The Becket School, said:
“We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students, with so many achieving fantastic results. These results are the culmination of two years of hard work, determination and resilience.
“Behind every set of results is an individual story, and today is about celebrating the achievements of all our students as they take their next steps. I would also like to thank all our staff and our students’ families for the support and encouragement they have provided throughout their time at The Becket.”
