The Friary is hosting one of its regular Bargain Sales on Saturday 15 August.
The sale is from 10 am until 12 noon at the Drop-In Centre at 46 Musters Road. As well as the opportunity to pick up a bargain, there is also a chance to socialise and learn more about the organisation and the work it does.
Chief Executive Ben Talbot said:
“The weather looks perfect on Saturday, with a drop to a more comfortable temperature and no rain.
“We hope that this will encourage anyone local or from further afield to support the event.
“We are always amazed by the turnout and fantastic support that we receive. As always, we have a huge array of items on sale.
“This includes women’s, men’s and children’s clothes, refurbished bikes, shoes, giftware, electrical items and bric-a-brac. We also have a fabulous array of homemade cakes and other refreshments on sale. We look forward to welcoming people to the Friary for a great community event.”
