The Friary are hosting a Fundraising sale tomorrow to raise funds for the organisation.
The sale is on Saturday 13 April from 10am till 12 noon at the Drop-In Centre at 46 Musters Road.
As well as the opportunity to pick up a bargain, there is also a chance to socialise and learn more about the organisation and the work it does.
Chief Executive Ben Talbot explains more about the sale and how important the funds raised are to the charity.
“We look forward to inviting people down to the Friary for our sale on Saturday.
“They are always well attended and the local community have always given us positive feedback.
“The funds raised are a valuable contribution to our income and make a difference to the lives of those who access our Drop-In.
“We continue to see up to 70 people per day accessing the Centre each weekday and many face multiple challenges in their lives.
“Homelessness is only part of this. Many access the Friary for the practical and emotional support we are able to offer while they look to get themselves back on their feet following and during difficult periods. Any support that local people can offer us is invaluable in helping us to continue this work”.
