The Hemlock Happening extravaganza will celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

The Hemlock Happening is back with an extravaganza to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The event is taking place over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend on Saturday 4th June from 1.00pm and the event will close with a finale firework display at 10.00pm.

The first Hemlock Happening took place 20 years ago in 2002 and was organised as a one off event to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Golden Jubilee.

With free entry, it will be a fun packed day of live music, dance, sport, crafts, stalls, family activities to mark the Jubilee in royal style.  Activities will include:

  • Live music stage featuring new bands and old favourites, with music throughout the decades plus some favourites from the 50’s to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Accession to the throne
  • A community stage and dance arena showcasing a host of talent from local schools, dance organisations and community performers
  • Arts and crafts and community stalls
  • Craft and trade stalls and foods stalls and bar on site
  • Finale Fireworks at 10pm
