The Nottingham Emmanuel School open days

The Nottingham Emmanuel School in West Bridgford has announced open mornings and open evenings planned for this year. See full prospectus.

At The Nottingham Emmanuel School we strive for excellence and we are looking forward to welcoming families to our forthcoming Open Evenings and Open Mornings, taking place in September and October 2018.

Our catchment area is within a 10 mile radius of St Mary’s Church in the Lace Market, meaning our student population travels from areas across the city and county. We have an inclusive admissions policy, welcoming differing proportions of families with a Christian faith, a world faith and with no faith to apply for a place.

What sets The Nottingham Emmanuel School apart is our determination to achieve both: to set the highest academic standards alongside strong, inclusive Christian values and ethos.

Our most recent inspections from OFSTED and the Church of England (SIAMS) achieved ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ gradings respectively. In addition to these exciting developments at Emmanuel, we have also recently celebrated OFSTED ‘outstanding’ judgements in other school within Archway Learning Trust.

Working with like-minded leaders and teaching professionals, for the good of our children and local communities, is a powerful mission that draws us together as teachers and parents.

Thanks to the record number of applications to Emmanuel last year, we welcome over 200 students into Year 7 in September 2018. Our new parents consistently talk about the strength of our transition programme, which enables children to settle quickly as they move from primary to secondary education.

This is a particular priority for us a school as we take pupils from around 40 primary schools, both within the city and the county boundaries. We are also delighted that the percentage of Year 11 students applying to our Sixth Form is higher than ever, with our provision offering a wide range of A level courses and vocational qualifications.

We recognise that choosing a school or Sixth Form is one of the most important decisions any parent or student will make. What makes The Nottingham Emmanuel School the school of choice for so many families is our determination to set the highest academic standards alongside strong, inclusive Christian values and ethos.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Year 5 and 6 Open Evening on Thursday 20 September 2018. Presentations will take place at 5.00pm and 7.30pm, followed by a tour of the school and the opportunity to meet staff and current students.

We also invite prospective Year 7 families to join us at one of our Open Mornings, which take place from 9.00-10.30am between 25 September and 12 October 2018. These open mornings always book up quickly and we encourage families to telephone our main reception on 0115 977 5830 to secure your place.

Our Sixth Form Open Evening will then take place at 7.00pm on Thursday 4 October 2018. However we are always delighted to welcome prospective families to visit Emmanuel throughout the year – please do get in touch.
