These Nottinghamshire roads are still closed due to flooding

These roads in Nottinghamshire are closed to traffic because of flooding.

Nottinghamshire County Council appeals for drivers not to ignore road closure notices –

A spokesperson said:

‘We’re also appealing to you to NEVER ignore road closure signs. We put closures in place for YOUR safety and we cannot emphasise enough that it’s not worth the risk to your safety, or that of others, to drive through flood water.’

Rushcliffe Police added:

‘Drivers ignoring the signs committing an offence, drivers who then also drive through flood water causing damage or breaking down also commit the offence of driving without due care and attention or dangerous driving.’
