Three people have been arrested within hours of a public appeal for information following a stabbing.
Their arrest comes after a man suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident in St Ann’s, at around 2am on 11 September 2021.
Officers were called to a takeaway in Mansfield Road, St Ann’s, at around 2am on 11 September 2021, after the victim rushed into the takeaway for help.
A 43-year-old man and two women aged 40 and 41-years-old have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
They remain in custody whilst they are questioned as part of the investigation.
The victim of the attack remains in hospital.
Detective Sergeant Frank Guddemi, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “I would like to reassure people we will always deal robustly with people who carry weapons on our streets.
“Our investigation is progressing and we would also like to appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time who saw what happened to please get in contact with us.”
