Three arrests after street fight in Nottingham

Three men were arrested after police were called to reports of a street fight.

Officers were called to the junction of Sneinton Road and Colwick Road, Nottingham, at around 9.30pm yesterday (Friday) following reports of a disturbance.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray and possessing a weapon in a public place.

Two other men, both aged 58, were arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of affray.

All three suspects remain in police custody.

PC Gail Collins, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We will always respond swiftly to reports of violent disorder and anyone involved is very likely to find themselves in police custody.

“Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and we would like to appeal to any additional witnesses to come forward by calling 101 and quoting incident 898 of 10 June 2022.”
