Three men are due in court charged in connection with a reported attempted theft of a catalytic converter.
The men aged 22, 27, and 30 are to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 11 November 2022) charged with attempted theft.
One man is also charged with dangerous driving, driving with no insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and the fraudulent use of a registration mark/document.

Inspector Sharonjit Powar, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Catalytic converter theft can have a significant impact on victims as repairs can be costly and time spent without a vehicle can make it difficult for victims to go about their daily lives.
“As our work on this investigation shows we are continuing to work hard as a force to prevent and reduce this crime type and we will relentlessly pursue those responsible for crimes of this nature.
“We are also urging members of the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity by calling us on 101. If an incident is in progress call 999.”
