Three more Nottingham patients die with coronavirus – city total reaches 211

Nottingham University Hospitals announced the news this afternoon 2 May.

Dr Keith Girling, Medical Director at Nottingham University Hospitals said: “Sadly we can confirm that a further three patients have died having tested positive for COVID-19.

“Regrettably that means that 211 COVID-19 positive patients we were caring for have sadly died since the beginning of March.”

“The patients were aged 82, 91 and 96 years of age, and died on the 30^th of April.”

“The families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
