Three teenagers arrested after stabbing in Eastwood

A 17-year-old boy had suffered stab wounds and was taken to hospital where his injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening.

Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Eastwood.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said:

‘We were called by colleagues from the ambulance service to Seymour Road at around 2.20 pm today (Friday 22 May).

‘A 17-year-old boy had suffered stab wounds and was taken to hospital where his injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening.

‘An investigation was instantly launched and two 14-year-old boys were arrested around an hour later and a 15-year-old boy arrested half-an-hour after that.’

Inspector Craig Nolan of Nottinghamshire Police said: “This appears to be a contained incident where the people involved are known to each other with no threat to the wider public.

We have a team investigating the case who are actively following up enquiries and have already gained substantial leads.

We do want people to get in touch with us if they saw anything suspicious in the area around the time it happened or have any information that could help.”
