Police say three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a street robbery in Nottingham.
An 18-year-old man handed over his chain after being threatened by three youths at the junction of Forest Road West and Waverley Street, the Arboretum, at around 4.08 am today (Saturday 25 July 2020). The victim was unhurt.
Detective Sergeant Nick Wood, who is leading the investigation, said: “Due to the quick response, officers were able to make three arrests within minutes of the incident being reported and the suspects are being questioned today.
“This was a shocking experience for the young man but thankfully he was unhurt.”
A 19-year-old man and two boys aged 17 and 16 have been arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident and remain in custody.
