Police are currently in attendance and are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was reported to have been stabbed in Top Valley.
Police said:
‘Officers were called to Old Farm Road at 6.37pm on Wednesday 16 July to reports of an attack on a man.
‘He is currently being treated in hospital. The full extent of his injuries is not yet known, however they are not currently believed to be life-threatening.
‘Cordons remain in place and officers are carrying out searches to find those responsible.’
Detective Inspector Marc Lancaster, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are treating this incident very seriously and our work is ongoing to understand the full circumstances of what happened.
“Officers remain in the area to provide reassurance and we are exploring a number of lines of enquiry.
“We are appealing for anyone who saw anything or has any footage relating to the incident to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
