There is a tree blocking the railway near Ambergate between Ambergate and Derby disrupting our trains on the Derby/Matlock route.
East Midlands Railways said:
‘A tree is blocking the railway between Ambergate and Matlock. Our service has had to be suspended until the tree and the train involved in hitting the tree has been removed.’
‘At present engineers are going to investigate the problem.
‘They are expected to arrive at 07:15.

‘Trains are suspended between Derby and Matlock.
‘At present we are expecting the problem to be fixed in the next 2-3 hours.
‘As soon as the problem is fixed our priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again.
‘We expect our advertised timetable to resume on the affected routes by 10:30.’
