NET has suffered communication system problems and no trams operated at all today Thursday 17 August.
NET said in an update:
‘Service update 18:40:
‘We still have no service this evening.
‘EMR and NCT are accepting our tickets and passes.

‘It is still not safe for us to carry passengers and we have no trams running in service.
‘You may notice trams moving ready for our track works starting tomorrow.’
