Firefighters rescued a fox cub trapped in a wall.

Notts Fire said:

Firefighters from Ashfield Fire Station have just returned back to home station after rescuing a trapped fox cub.

Two fox cubs were stuck between a garage and stone wall one of them was rescued by HARC animal rescue before Ashfield had arrived however the second cub required rescue by our firefighters.

‘Access was gained by chiselling through the wall to gain access to the fox cub.

‘The cub was then handed over to HARC animal rescue who took the cubs to be examined to ensure that they would be well enough to be released back into the wild.

‘Hopefully both cubs will be reunited with mum later tonight.’
