Members of the travelling community have set up on the car park near the Victoria Embankment play area.
The vehicles and caravans were spotted at lunchtime on Saturday 6 May on Wilford Grove, the road that leads to the parking area near the play area – it’s unclear when they arrived.
About a dozen cars, vans and caravans are at the site.
The site is owned by Nottingham City Council.
