A free Tree Walk with an expert takes place in the park in June.
Organisers said:
‘Come and explore Victoria Embankment Memorial Garden with us, learn all about the trees in the park and how to identify them with an expert.
‘Let’s celebrate the pivotal role trees play on Earth, from providing food and shade to helping us breathe to encouraging biodiversity and much more!
The walk will be held on Friday 23 June, meeting at 12:30 pm at the Bandstand in the Memorial Garden.
The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours.
Sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing advised
