Bus operator trentbarton has partnered with It’s in Nottingham to support the Big Red Bow installation, a festive holiday display designed to bring joy and seasonal charm to Nottingham’s iconic Bridlesmith House on Bridlesmith Gate.
Launched on 19 November 2024, the Big Red Bow will remain in place through early January 2025, inviting residents and visitors alike to experience the magic of the season in the heart of Nottingham’s shopping district.
A bright, larger-than-life red bow will adorn Bridlesmith House, transforming the popular area into a holiday photo destination sure to delight shoppers and passers-by.
trentbarton’s involvement in the Big Red Bow underscores its commitment to supporting local businesses and spreading festive spirit throughout the city by making it easier for people to reach Nottingham’s unique shopping streets.
Alex Flint, CEO of It’s in Nottingham, shared his excitement about trentbarton’s support for the installation: “We’re excited to see trentbarton join us in celebrating Nottingham’s Christmas spirit with this year’s Big Red Bow. Their dedication to Nottingham and its people aligns perfectly with our mission to bring festive cheer to our city’s retail spaces and support local businesses. This installation will be a vibrant addition to Nottingham throughout the holiday season, and we’re thrilled that trentbarton is helping make it possible.”
With its routes connecting Nottingham and surrounding communities, trentbarton encourages residents and visitors alike to enjoy this festive installation and explore all the local shops and dining options Nottingham has to offer during the Christmas period. The Big Red Bow aims to be a central part of the city’s festive landscape, adding a welcoming touch of holiday magic to Nottingham’s bustling Bridlesmith Gate.
Tom Morgan, trentbarton Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to be able to sponsor this year’s Big Red Bow. We hope the installation brings a smile to people’s faces during the festive period.
