We are very sad to report the passing of Richard Norman Barker, aged 79, who lived all his life in West Bridgford.
Richard served for 33 years in the West Bridgford ambulance service and was a leader in the 5th West Bridgford Scout Group for over 40 years.
He was a popular figure in the neighbourhood and liked by all.
He died peacefully on Monday 6th March at 4.30 am after a long period of illness.
He was courageous to the end and is sadly missed by all his family.
