The Mayor of Rushcliffe’s Celebrity Charity Dinner takes place on October 13, headed by guest speaker BBC TV Auctioneer Charles Hanson.
The Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip star will entertain Mayor Cllr Mrs Maureen Stockwood and guests with stories on his years wielding the hammer behind the cameras at the Yeung Sing Cantonese Restaurant on Market Street in Bingham.
Charles will also conduct an auction with all proceeds going to her chosen charity, The Nottinghamshire Hospice with a 7pm for 7.30pm meet for the event.
The evening includes a three course dinner for £30, a raffle will take place and tickets are available by emailing the Mayor email@example.com
The Mayor said: “Please join me for what promises to be a wonderful evening led by Charles who is a very entertaining after dinner speaker and who will no doubt fascinate us with some of his tales from his role in the industry and TV career.
“The auction also promises to have some wonderful prizes to bid for so make sure you don’t miss out, it’s set to be a memorable evening that should raise some vital funds for the Hospice, the very worthwhile charity for my year in office.”
Vegetarian, gluten free or other special dietary requirements should be outlined when guests book their place.
