A man, aged 33, and a boy, aged 15, were arrested and interviewed on Monday (26 July 2021) and have since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

Detective Inspector Kayne Rukas of Nottinghamshire Police said: “We understand the concern and impact that such incidents can have. A woman has been left frightened and with injuries, and as such we are committed to our investigation and determining the circumstances around what happened.

“We would reassure people that local officers will be out patrolling the local area and available to talk to, and we would encourage anyone with concerns to speak to them or get in touch via 101. We also believe that those thought to be involved are known to each other and that there is no wider risk to the public.

“As part of our investigation, we arrested and interviewed a man and a boy, and officers are continuing their enquiries into the incident. We would urge anyone with information to get in touch on 101, quoting incident 282 of 14 July 2021.”
