Two men have been arrested in connection with an investigation into an assault in Eastwood.
A man was taken to hospital following the incident involving a bladed weapon in Lawrence Avenue, at 4.23 pm today (Tuesday 28 April). His injuries are not life-threatening.
Two men, aged 36 and 32, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with the investigation.
Detective Inspector Ed Cook, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This incident happened in the street in broad daylight. Weapon-related crime is unacceptable and I would urge anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
“Whilst we have made two arrests, enquiries are continuing and we would still like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident. If anyone has CCTV or dash-cam footage in the area at the time it may also be helpful to the investigation.
