Two Independent Bingham Town Councillors have joined the Reform UK Party.
Deputy Mayor of Bingham Town Council, Councillor Wayne Stapleton and fellow Bingham Town Councillor and the former Notts County Councillor for Bingham East Division, Councillor Francis Purdue-Horan.
Cllr Stapleton said: “the Reform Party has the right policies to fix our great country and shares the priorities and values of the vast majority of British people, it is where I feel I belong.”
He added, “the Conservatives abused the trust of the British people during their 14 years in office and now Labour have merely continued to treat the British people with almost contempt. Britain needs Reform and I will be playing my part to elect a Reform Government as soon as we can have a General Election.”

Cllr Francis Purdue-Horan said: “We are paying the price of decades of complacency and
incompetence by the old Parties, only Reform has the interests of the British people as a core value of it’s principle aims and objectives. I’m looking forward to working with our new colleagues in a political Party, Reform UK, that actually cares about and listens to the people they seek to serve in our local communities and across the country.”
