Two charged after BB gun fired from window in Nottingham city centre

Police investigating reports of a BB gun being fired from a window have charged two men.

A 22-year-old and a 19-year-old, both of Pilcher Gate, Lace Market, Nottingham, are due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 7 January.

They are charged with using a BB air rifle to fire missiles out of a window between 1 October and 15 October 2021.

Sergeant James Hirst, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We take reports of firearms offences extremely seriously.

“There can be no excuse for firing any kind of weapon and we will always look to take robust action against anyone who commits such an offence.
