Two suspected drug offenders have been charged after police executed a search warrant at a two-bedroom house.
Officers recovered thousands of pounds worth of suspected Class A drugs, believed to be cocaine, after searching the address in Hazel Grove, Hucknall. Quantities of cash, phones and scales were also seized.
Two suspects were also arrested as a result of the proactive operation on Friday morning (23 June 2023).
Jamie Hancock, aged 32, of Nottingham and Paige Halls-Hays, aged 27, of Hucknall, have been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
Hancock appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (24 June 2023). He was remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 21 July 2023.
Halls-Hays has been granted conditional bail and is next due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 27 July 2023.
Detective Constable Rich Kinsey, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Drug offences are treated with the utmost severity, and we continue to work proactively as a force to remove them from the streets before they can be used to cause harm.
“Dealing drugs in Nottinghamshire will not be tolerated and we will take positive action against anyone involved in this sort of criminality.”
