Two charged after jewellery and clothing stolen in burglary

Police investigating a house burglary have charged two suspects.

Electrical items, jewellery and clothing were taken during the break-in in Radburn Court, Stapleford, at around 9pm on Wednesday evening (5 July).

A 39-year-old man has been charged with burglary and was remanded into custody.

The man, Doncaster, is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday).

A 17-year-old boy, who can’t be named, has also been charged with burglary and released on conditional bail.

Detective Inspector Nicholas Hall, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We understand how distressing house burglaries and be for victims who have their homes and their lives violated in this way.

“That’s why we have dedicated teams of detectives working exclusively on burglary cases. I am please we have now been able to charge two suspects in this case and our investigation continues.”
