Two charged after woman assaulted and threatened with a knife

The victim was assaulted at an address in Helston Drive, Bilborough, at around 8.30pm on Tuesday 8 November.

 

Officers attended the scene and arrested two suspects shortly afterwards.

Rachel Pullen, aged 36, has been charged with assault by beating, possession of a knife and witness intimidation.

Pullen, of Helston Drive, Bilborough, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates court on Thursday and pleaded not guilty to the offences.

She was remanded into custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 9 December.

Charlene Fitzgerald, aged 40, has also been charged with assault.

Fitzgerald, of Ridgway Street, St Ann’s, was released on bail and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 10 December.

PC Ruman Basi, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We take all reports of knife crime extremely seriously and were very quickly on the scene of this incident. I am pleased that two suspects have now been charged and our investigation continues.”
