Two children seriously injured after collision with car in Nottingham

Two children have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a road traffic collision in Aspley.

Emergency services were called to Grannis Drive at 3.50pm on Friday 19 June after a collision involving a large car and the children.

The boys, both aged 12, are being treated in hospital

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and is helping officers with their inquiries.

No arrests have been made.

Detective Sergeant Paul Clark, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:

“This was a very serious and distressing incident, and our thoughts are with the injured children and their families.

“As we work to understand exactly what happened in the moments leading up to this collision, we’d like to speak with everyone who saw or heard what happened.”
