Two men are due to appear before magistrates in connection with a series of mobile phone robberies in Nottingham city centre.
It comes after an investigation into a number of reports of pub and club revellers being targeted in January.
Abdul Boychaala, 29, and Hussen Ehab, 25, both of Radford, have each been charged with one offence of conspiracy to rob, in connection with seven separate robberies. They have been bailed to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 21 July.
Detective Constable Richard Evans, of Nottinghamshire Police’s dedicated Robbery Team, said: “The investigation included analysis of CCTV footage of a number of incidents.
“Whilst it was led by the Robbery Team, the investigation was supported by Community Protection, the Neighbourhood Policing Team, Response officers and the front counter staff at Radford.”
