Two Transit vans stolen in West Bridgford

Officers are appealing for information and witnesses following two reports of two vans being stolen in the West Bridgford area.

Officers are keen to speak this man (pictured) in connection with both incidents.

The first incident happened in Loughborough Road in West Bridgford on 22 June at around 1.40pm. The van was parked up on a driveway whilst the victim was unloading some items.

Thankfully the van was recovered later that day.

Meanwhile a second vehicle was stolen on Brockley Road on 24 June at around 5pm.

Police Constable Paul Henson is leading the investigation: “We believe both incidents are linked and we are keen to speak to the man pictured in connection with the thefts.

“We’d ask the local community to remain vigilant. Both vans were parked nearby to houses.

“We’d remind residents to ensure vehicles are securely locked throughout the day and night and remove any keys even when nearby to the vehicle.

“If you recognise the man or have any information please ring 101 quoting incident number 371 of 22 June 2020.”
