Police are appealing for information after two women were sexually assaulted by a cyclist in the Old Lenton area of Nottingham.
The first incident happened in Church Street, Old Lenton, at around 10:30 pm on Sunday 28 May.
The second incident happened near the underpass in Shirwin Road, Old Lenton, at around 11 pm on Monday 29 May.
Another woman was also approached on Church Street at around 11.10 pm on Sunday but was not assaulted.
On each occasion, a man riding a bike asked the women for directions to the nearest gym.
The suspect is described as Asian, of slim build and around 5 ft 8 ins tall. On each occasion, he wore dark clothes, a dark-coloured helmet and rode a dark-coloured bike.
Detective Chief Inspector Rob Routledge, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “These were distressing incidents for the young women involved and we are determined to catch up with the person responsible.
“Detectives have been working hard over the last few days to identify this suspect and have scoured a very large amount of CCTV footage.
“We are now appealing to the public for help and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a man matching this description in the Lenton area.
“We would especially like to hear from any other women who may have been approached by this man in the past.
“Additional patrols have been taking place in the area and will continue over the coming days to provide reassurance to local residents.”
