Cases

A confirmed case is someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.

36,660 new people had a confirmed positive test result reported on 13 July 2021.

Between 7 July 2021 and 13 July 2021, 236,076 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows an increase of 26.6% compared to the previous 7 days.

Vaccinations

Vaccines are currently given in 2 doses, at least 21 days apart.

45,978,017 people had been given a first dose by the end of 12 July 2021.

34,997,491 people had been given a second dose by the end of 12 July 2021.

Healthcare

Some people with coronavirus have to go into hospital.

Between 7 July 2021 and 13 July 2021, there have been 213 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. This shows an increase of 50.0% compared to the previous 7 days.
