There were 1,184,941 tests reported on 12 May 2021. This shows an increase of 3.8% compared to the previous 7 days.

Between 6 May 2021 and 12 May 2021, there have been 6,440,897 tests.

Cases

A confirmed case is someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.

2,657 new people had a confirmed positive test result reported on .

Between 7 May 2021 and 13 May 2021, 16,079 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows an increase of 12.4% compared to the previous 7 days.

Vaccinations

Vaccines are currently given in 2 doses, at least 21 days apart.

35,906,671 people had been given a first dose by the end of 12 May 2021.

18,890,969 people had been given a second dose by the end of 12 May 2021.

Healthcare

Some people with coronavirus have to go into hospital.
