The A52 has reopened after the earlier accident.
Nottinghamshire Police said:
‘The A52 in West Bridgford, from the Nottingham Knight island to Clifton Bridge, has reopened following a crash this afternoon involving a van and a car.
‘A man was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be serious.’
