Police have closed the A57 at East Markham and Dalton after a serious crash.

‘We have closed a section of the A57 following a serious crash.
‘Our officers were called to reports of a collision between a car and a lorry near Darlton at 10.28am today (19 June).
‘The road is closed in both directions between East Markham and Darlton, with drivers advised to avoid the area while investigations take place.
‘We’d like to thank motorists for their understanding.’
