Updates: Upper Parliament St Nottingham closed – collision

Trams and traffic are blocked by a collision near the Royal Centre tram stop.

7 pm – Collision cleared and all services back to running normally.

‘Road blocked and queueing traffic due to crash on A6008 Upper Parliament Street Westbound at Market Street.

‘The road is blocked following an accident near the Royal Centre tram stop first reported at around 18:30. Affecting traffic heading towards Derby Road.’

Nottingham City Transport:

‘Upper Parliament Street has been closed due to an incident. All pink and turquoise services are diverting via Market Street. Please use stops A3 and A4 at Angel Row.’

Emergency services are on scene and have SHUT Upper Parliament Street at the Royal Centre tram crossing
