There are delays on public transport and traffic after a serious incident on Weekday Cross in Nottingham.

Emergency services have reopened Weekday Cross, in both directions.

Due to an incident Weekday Cross, all City Loop services are diverted via Canal Street, Bellar Gate and Lower Parliament Street.
Stops on Fletcher Gate and George Street cannot be served. Please use Victoria Centre named stops.
Nottinghamshire Police said:
‘Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in Weekday Cross, Nottingham.
‘People are advised to avoid the area while investigations take place and to be aware of possible disruption to the city tram network.’
Nottingham Travelwise said at 10:36 am on Thursday 15 May:
‘Weekday Cross closed in both directions due to RTC between the junctions of High Pavement and Warser Street.
‘Emergency services are on scene so please use an alternative route at this time.’

‘There’s currently a disruption to our services due to a road traffic incident in the City Centre. Services heading towards the City are holding.’
