A suspect has been charged following a stabbing in St Ann’s.
Police were called to Liverpool Street, St Ann’s, at around 3pm on Sunday (6 March) after receiving reports of a stabbing.
The 21-year-old victim remains in hospital, but his injuries are not said to be life-threatening or life-altering.
A 33-year-old man has been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He has been remanded into custody and will next appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 5 April 2022.
Detective Sergeant Andy Buxton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers have been working hard to investigate the incident since Sunday’s attack.
“I am pleased we have now been able to charge a man in relation to this incident thanks to the swift and thorough work carried out by officers.
“This type of behaviour will never be tolerated on our streets and we will always act quickly to investigate.”
