This Saturday 3 October sees the return of the Victoria Repair Cafe in West Bridgford.
The next Victoria Repair Café will be held on Saturday 3 October at the Holy Spirit church, Social Centre, Victoria Road West Bridgford NG2 7NT.
Open from 10:00am to 1:00pm, with the last item booked in at 12:30pm.
It’s an opportunity to give a much-loved item a second chance, see if it can be repaired, and learn how to fix things yourself!
There is no charge for repairs or refreshments, but donations are very welcome.
The café repairs the treasured possessions of the West Bridgford community. Based in the Holy Spirit Social Centre on Victoria Road, doors open at 10:00am.
Do you have clothes that need repairing or altering? Have you discovered that your Christmas lights no longer work? Do you want your gardening tools sharpening ready for next spring? As always volunteer experts will be on hand to repair your treasured items.
All they ask for is donations when they repair your item based on what it’s worth and what you can afford. Any surplus is donated to charity. Strictly a maximum of 2 items per person.
