The flag was installed and unveiled today ahead of a parade in the city tomorrow.
City Council Leader, Cllr David Mellen, said: “We are proud to display what is believed to be the largest St George’s flag in the country every year to mark St George’s Day. It provides a great backdrop for those celebrating the patron saint of England in the Old Market Square and taking part in the annual parade.”
