‘Entry was gained by unknown means at this time, it is rumoured on social media that a skeleton / master key was used but this is unconfirmed at this time.
Vehicles targeted were Ford Transits and a Vauxhall Vivaro.

‘The previous night one vehicle in East Leake and numerous other vehicles in West Bridgford and Ruddington were targeted. These ranged from a wallet being taken, a set of number plates being removed, and more vans attacked where tools were stolen.

‘Whilst it isn’t always possible and can be a major inconvenience to remove tools from your van each night; it is suggested that vans are revered onto driveways up against your property in an attempt to restrict access to rear and side loading doors where possible.

‘Overnight patrols in these areas have been increased as a result of these crimes.’
If you see anyone acting in a suspicious manner, please call 999.
