A resident wants to warn others after a disturbing incident at Iremongers Pond today.
The woman says that at 09:30 am this morning ( Thursday 18 August ) at Iremongers Pond in Wilford, a popular fishing spot, a man approached her ‘for sex’.
She left the area and the man followed her, she ran and managed to put some distance between them.
The incident has been reported to Nottinghamshire Police and we have contacted them for comment.
The lady describes the man as a white male, tall and slim in his mid-30s.

He appears tanned with short blond hair, slightly balding with bright blue eyes – he was carrying a large rucksack and had an Eastern European accent.
