Firefighters at Edwinstowe station assessed the situation at the road crossing today.
Fire officers at Edwinstowe Fire Station said:
‘Please do not use the ford at Rufford today. Red Watch have been down this morning ( 25 August ) and it is currently impassable.
The road closed signs are out and the ford is coned off, please do not risk it.’
