The movie Grease is celebrating its 40th anniversary and to celebrate, there’ll be a special outdoor screening of the film at Sneinton Market on 10 August – organised by Blend Coffee Shop as part of their Outdoor Summer Screening season and Big Sky Cinema.
The event starts at 6.30pm and the film will be screened when the sun goes down – around 9.15/9.30pm.
There’ll also be a Grease sing-a-long with the Kristian Thomas Company, street food on offer from Wolf Down Pop-Ups and drinks available from Blend’s outdoor bar. Plus extra special surprises before the screening.
Fancy dress and singing along welcome! Children to be accompanied by an adult.
Blend said: ‘We’re excited to be celebrating the 40th anniversary of an utter cinema classic with Grease. Sandy, Danny and all the gang in their glory. If that doesn’t scream summer, we don’t know what does.”

Blend Coffee Shop and Big Sky Cinema will also be screening the Rocky Horror Picture Show on 19 October – as a finale to Blend’s Summer Screening Season.
The Kristian Thomas Company are also putting on a stage version of Grease from 27 August to 1 September at the Duchess Theatre in Derbyshire.
