Weather: 90% chance of Nottingham snow on Sunday says Met Office

The latest weather forecast from the Met Office today, suggests that there is a very high chance of snowfall across the region on Sunday Dec 10. 

Today Dec 7:

It will be a windy, cloudy and wet start to the day with outbreaks of rain moving eastwards. This will clear during the morning to leave an often sunny, but increasingly cold day with some snow showers later. Remaining windy. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight Dec 7:

Occasional wintry showers will continue overnight. There will also be clear spells, and it will become cold with a widespread frost forming. Winds will remain brisk. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

Friday Dec 8:

It will be a cold and frosty, but sunny start to the day. It will remain cold with strong winds and occasional snow showers, especially in the west. Maximum temperature 4 °C.


Outlook for Saturday to Monday Dec 9-11:

Saturday cold, sunny with a few snow showers. Winds easing later, sharp frost overnight. Becoming windy Sunday with rain or snow spreading eastwards. Cold, windy Monday with a few showers.
