A cloudy day with outbreaks of rain across the region. These will be persistent and heavy at times through the morning and much of the afternoon but starting to ease by the evening. Feeling rather cold with light winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Tonight:
Rain easing through the first half of the night, although some spots of rain or drizzle are possible through to dawn. A cloudy night and feeling cold. Minimum temperature of 2 °C.
Wednesday:
Early patchy rain easing then a dry, cloudy and cool morning. Rain sweeping east across the region through the afternoon, clearing to brighter spells later, but staying cool. Maximum temperature of 12 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Bright spells and scattered heavy showers on Thursday. Drier Friday with isolated showers and feeling less cold. Bright with isolated showers for much of Saturday, heavy rain possible later.
